The castle and old town are amazing.

The castle and old town are amazing. The views across to Anglesey were breathtaking, especially at sunset. Everything you need is close by and there are lots of places to visit - castle, marina, smallest pub in Wales. Along with plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes. I use a walker and had no problem getting around. The castle is in the process of fitting a lift inside one of the towers, so anyone with mobility issues will be able to access the upper areas.

The castle was amazing, we could have spent longer there but wanted to fit in other sightseeing. We were self-catering but there were lots of places to eat which seemed very attractive. The town is not too large to get about on foot but I suspect most people would prefer the area around the castle and quays.

Castle interesting and views across to Anglesey beautiful at sunset. Walled town attractive though some of the outer parts a bit run down. Seems a lively place with a buzzing Friday evening social scene. Eating places mostly offering pub grub rather than local produce.(Ok if you like chips)

Magical, Musical, Happy, Dog Friendly and helpful place.

Magical, Musical, Happy, Dog Friendly and helpful place. The cobbled streets bekan horses, the Castle stands strong, proud and has witnessed passing of time. The Marina changes as many times as the moon rising and the sun setting, mirroring the life of the Castle. Musicians bloom like flowers. Laughter and cheer brings people together here.

Finding somewhere good to eat was difficult, everything thing was closed, it was like a ghost town. Weatherspoons food was horrendous as was the Black Boy Inn, cheap food for an expensive price, wouldnt venture there in a hurry.

Spacious and clean. A short walk from Caernarfon centre, the castle and other tourist sites, (and the pubs and take-aways.) A view of Snowdonia from the main bedroom. Well furnished, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were a little uncertain about parking and possible local noise but parked right outside the door everytime, heard nothing from the neighbourhood and only saw one person walk passed the house. We've stayed in North Wales often at various places but this new one is a new favourite and the host... fantastic!

The staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. Room was very clean and tidy with fresh water available in the fridge along with tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. Guest house had attractive living room on the ground floor available for guests to use. Very handy location, close to the harbour (where free parking is available), which has a nice view overlooking the Menai Straits and close to Caernarfon Castle and town centre facilities.

The apartment was well equipped and although we never met our host, she was in regular contact with us via email. We also needed to reach her by phone once and had no problem. The garden is nice and we figured out all the appliances although they were a bit foreign to us. The facilities were very neat & clean and the location convenient to the castle and shops. We enjoyed being able to make our own meals.

This was a nice historic hotel. Queen Victoria herself stayed in 1832! The place has lots of charm but the rooms themselves could use updating. However the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! The hotel is right by a bus stop with service from Bangor and on to Porthmadog making it easy to do our trip car free. It was also an easy walk to the castle and Welsh Highland Railway station.

The property was spotlessly clean, and cosy. We loved it. The balcony and it's view of the lake was a pleasant surprise .. perfect for breakfast & a G&T in the evening! The site was immaculate too, with restaurant & shop. Decent size pool and park if you are travelling with kids, they will love it. Caernarfon town centre is just a short drive away with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets.

Location is excellent for touring around North Wales and a 15 minute walk into Caernarfon and great views over the Menai straits. Accommodation was clean and very well equiped, everything you needed was available. The owners had left a very nice welcome pack which included a bottle of wine, chocolates, butter, bread, milk, biscuits, cake and even some flowers on the dining table.

Bron Menai provides a typical room: smallish but clean and comfortable, nice shower with plenty of pressure and hot water, and a good breakfast. Castle and marina are a short 4 to 5 minute walk away and a grocery is just across the street. Ample parking in the back of the site that you access via an alley like drive (which is more easy to navigate than it looks).

The location is fantastic. Located right next to the castle and only a few yards from multiple restaurants and pubs. There is no parking at the hotel; however, there is a large public carpark directly behind the hotel that only charges £6.00+ for 24htr parking. What a deal!

A beautiful pod with breathtaking views. The park is so well kept and very quiet. Didn’t have any interaction with staff as it was self check in but that was all fine. A lovely stroll into the town and castle but only discovered the path down to the beach on the last day!

Idyllic bed and breakfast right next to Caernarfon Castle and the waterfront. The pub downstairs served good food and drink, and the staff were lovely. Everything in the main part of town was within walking distance.
